Wow a cupcake with guiness, i never knew we caould use it for baking. I love to drink guiness, not that often though as it straigt goes to my hip :-) Beautiful cupcake.
I have always wanted to make a stout cucpcake - I was planning on waiting until St Patty's Day. I am definitely going to try your recipe! It looks delish!
I definitely made something very similar this past weekend! I used the recipe from Smitten Kitchen which was virtually the same thing but with Jameson ganache too. I like your frosting better though because it's made out of cream cheese rather than butter and sugar.
I made these, with a shot of Jameson in the batter to turn 'em into Irish Cake Bombs. They are wonderful and I will be getting a lot of use out of this recipe!
I'm a college girl, so cupcakes + alcohol = heaven :) If only I had access to an oven right now. Fortunately, spring break is around the corner, so I'll be home and have oven access soon! I'm definitely going to add this recipe to my weekly meal planner
I really liked how these turned out. Yummy chocolately, beer-goodness.
I halved the recipe because I don't have two muffin pans and ended up putting in way too much guinness. The muffins didn't rise well and were soggy, but it's Guinness! Can't complain there.
With St. Paddy's day approaching, I'll probably try the recipe again...
I made these for St. Patrick's Day this year, and they were awesome. I've gotten feedback from others who have tried similar recipes, and this was the best. In fact, I will be insisting that the woman baking our wedding cupcakes use this recipe!
I have a friend who is buying us a KitchenAid mixer for the wedding so that I can make him the frosting from this recipe whenever he requests.
I made these yesterday for a wedding reception after-party at a club, so they were perfect! Everyone loved them!
I doubled the recipe, but then had have to wait to put the second 24 in the oven. The wait time didn't affect the texture at all. In fact, there was enough batter for 60 cupcakes, and the 5th pan was as good as the first.
These are absolutely amazing! I made these yesterday into 12 cupcakes and one 8 inch cake. I added about 3/4 cup dutch processed cocoa powder. The cake is so moist and rich and delicious. And the frosting - OMG!!! I used nuefchatel cheese instead of cream cheese ... very good!! I love it so much (and I am a very picky frosting person). My sister has had 2 already. My mother has asked me to make this for her office birthday tomorrow. The cupcakes took only 20 minutes in my oven and the cake took about 30 minutes. Thank you for this amazing recipe!

Straight-forward recipe and oh-so-tasty. My coworkers referred to them as the "boozy cupcakes". :)
Another good liquor to use is Gran Mariner, which is one of my favorites. These cupcakes sound fantastic!
I love the Bailey's cream cheese frosting. YUM!

Just an FYI - Guinness is NOT carbonated!
But Guinness cuppies are by far the best tasting cupcakes EVER!!!!
